Beth,
I'm enjoying all of your posts, but none more than your reflections of Scotland. Brian and I traveled there once and really enjoyed the country. We visited many of the same places you did including Edinburgh, the Royal Mile, and Loch Ness. It was a spectacular trip, one we will remember.

In preparation for the trip a friend of mine gave me a book to read - The Greyfriar's Bobby. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greyfriars_Bobby

It was such an enjoyable book. I noticed you visited the the Greyfriar's Churchyard. If you haven't read the book and you have the time, I think you'll really enjoy it.

I'm so glad that you are spreading your wings, learning so much about life, the world, and yourself. This adventure will prove to be life altering for you and I'm so happy you have this opportunity. Keep up that fabulous posts...they are so enjoyable.
